Who Is Defend-it Legal Services?
Defend-it Legal Services is a multi-service paralegal firm operating from offices in Pickering, Ontario and provides legal services throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) including the municipalities of Toronto, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Clarington, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon. Defend-it Legal Services is owned and founded by Leon Presner. Leon, who is now a Paralegal practitioner followed a successful career of more than 27 1/2 years as a Police Officer for the Durham Regional Police Service. Now retired from the Police Service, Leon now provides a wide breadth of quality advocacy in many areas of law.

Defend-it Legal Services provides a variety of legal services with key focus on the defence of Provincial Offences matters including Highway Traffic Act charges as well as the defence of Criminal Code (summary conviction) violations, being those within the paralegal scope of practice. Defend-it Legal Services also handles a wide variety of cases within the Small Claims Court as well as hearings within the Landlord Tenant Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, Immigration Refugee Board other Tribunals and among many others.
